There were 61 arrests over the pre-holiday weekend in San Diego County. According to the California Highway Patrol, this was 3 more than during the same period last year.
During the pre New Year’s holiday weekend last year there were 5 fatalities reported. There was only one fatality reported this year.
Throughout the state there were 907 DUI arrests made over the weekend. Last year there were 1181 arrests, 274 more than this year.
